A recent graduate in Product Design (BA) from De Montfort University, I am a young and competent professional seeking a permanent role within the design industry. I can combine technical and analytical abilities with problem solving, creative ability and a strong aesthetic sense to truly thrive in a wide variety of projects and tasks. I am self-motivated, able to work on my own initiative but also enjoy working as part of a team.

Part-time paid employment, providing support to the management team. Working both on the salesfloor and in the stockroom to offer a friendly service to customers in a timely manner. Ensuring stock gets to the salesfloor as quickly as possible and keeping the salesfloor looking tidy, well
organized and easy to shop in. Accurately and rapidly processing stock, including locating, packing, and promptly transferring stock in and out of store as deliveries arrive.

Part-time waiter and barman, here I worked both on the restaurant floor and at the back in the bar. Roles included: making sure that customers were always satisfied, waiting at tables and acting as middle man between customers and the kitchen; managing the stock to ensure that there was always product available for customers to order and maintaining an organised and clean workspace to ensure safety and efficiency; defusing difficult situations when a customer was not happy and finding solutions to issues to suit both customers and the restaurant.
Volunteering

On different occasions I have volunteered at my
local school to help at a summer art workshop,
and I spent two weeks assisting at Fircroft College
of Adult Education (Birmingham), working at the
front desk and on various other tasks.
